Yeah I did. I always wrote the Why essay. I think meeting with them and talking helped my profile.

For all of you who told me I had no shot in hell at any top 30 school:

Just got an acceptance package from ND. $20,000 scholarship.

Approximate Numbers: 165, 3.6+ GPA

Hope that gives some of you some positivity to keep trying and keep the positivity!

Any RD acceptances? I went complete 11/10 and hoping to hear back sometime in early December.

No, I wish I was but I chickend out and decided to go rd. I went complete Oct 2nd so I hope to here soon. ND is my top choice by far so I wish I went ed.

Just got a letter today. Waitlisted... 163/3.51. Is the ND waitlist tough to get off? Can anyone direct me to where i can read all about getting off ND waitlist?

Me too... got the WL letter today. 161/3.52 w/ 2 grad degrees and 5 yrs of work experience in public service. I'm interested too in hearing from anyone who knows anything about getting off the waitlist.

Note to all waitlisters:

When I went to visit last week, Heather talked me through the waitlist process. Her words "Call us". Keep in contact with them asap and they will tell you things you can do to get off. It may be as simple as writing a Why Notre Dame Essay. Dont send anything though until you call them and see how you can improve your chances. Without this communication your just another application in a pile. Best of luck
