Have they been sending an email for a decision of waitlist or are all decisions by mail?

WL today, via snail mail.....letter dated 4/26

just talked to admissions, they will not even look at the WL until late may

Does anyone know if they make decisions in similar batches (all waitlist, all reject, all accept)?

only other WL i am on is at wustl - im not too intensely keen on going there, and i dont think they expect too much movement..

The letter with the waitlist said 25-30 enroll after being on the waitlist usually

For those of you that are still on the waitlist there's still hope! I am a current 1L (soon to be 2L) and I was accepted on June 9th off of the waitlist. I never wrote the why ND essay but I tried to incorporate that into my 1st LOCI. I sent in a 2nd LOCI I think a month or two after my 1st one, reiterating my interest and stating that even though I had gotten into schools close to my area (I'm from Cali) I would still choose ND. I would also call the admissions office every week or two for status updates, and they admissions office actually makes notes of your calls on your file (it's a good thing).

Anyways good luck with the waitlist, and to all who have gotten accepted I'm looking forward to seeing the new faces and will be pretty jealous about how you'll have a law library during your 1L year. It was under construction all this year
