thanks everyone! notre dame has always been my #1, since childhood. my goal is doing fulfilling work in the public interest field, money not a huge factor, and notre dame seems to provide a sparkling reputation for producing men and women of great moral fortitude. i was in fact ea (even though nd calls it ed...i guess its ed with exceptions, or ea with limitations) and the dean (actually acting director of admissions) included a handwritten note on my commitment to community service. it's nice to know my favorite school might actually look past gpa/lsat. this is a perfect fit, and i was brought almost to tears (ok, a few tears).

Let's hope, although your LSAT is impressive. Congrats, and maybe I'll see you there.

I got a letter from Notre Dame today notifying me that I was waitlisted...I applied regular decision and received the letter via snail mail (small envelope).

Ditto, maybe the key is to apply ED If they didn't have that ridiculous clause about having to make a decision to attend by Feb then I may have done it. Anyway, congrats OP!

Congrats OP!! When did you go complete? I'm applying ED also and I went complete last week.

Went complete 2 weeks ago and visiting and meeting "officially" next week. I hope they dont render a decision by then. The good news is if they haven't I will be the only on visiting since it is on an off day for them which should get me some one on one time.

I applied mid-October---looking forward to the decision.

Just got waitlisted. Hit me harder than I expected. Notre Dame is one of my dream schools to be sure, but my GPA and LSAT are below their medians so I really shouldn't be surprised by this decision.
