I got the ready for review email from Bu on 10/16 but haven't heard anything since then. Does anyone know how they do notifications? the "how will we be notified thread" doesn't seem to list BU...

No more PM's please. I will say that I received an e-mail asking for information in addition to my application, and it is specifically for my application. Best of luck everyone, I just thought it was odd that I was contacted by their adcomm this early.

If I submitted over two weeks ago and I haven't gotten a complete (I should be complete b/c all my recs/transcripts are in), should I be worried?

At what point of not hearing should I contact the admissiosn office?

I'm in the same boat. I am complete at about half the schools I applied to. The other half, including BU, have been creepily silent since acknowledging my application 2 weeks ago.

They said if you hadn't heard about going complete after 2 weeks, to give them a call.

Once I receive my Harvard acceptance letter, I plan to withdraw my application from BU in order that another candidate (hopefully one of you) has the opportunity to attend. Do you have any thoughts on the most courteous and also most effective way of contacting them for this purpose?

Dear Admissions,

I'm sorry to inform you of my decision to withdraw from your program. However, I am happy to report that krispykitten is more than ready to take my place. I would very much appreciate it if you would admit her instead.

Thank you!

I still haven't gotten a complete e-mail O_o

Last item was sent my LSAC on the 9th or 10th, I fail to believe it hasn't been sitting in their pile.

So are we expecting to hear something from BU this week? Looks like they started sending out decisions on the 26th last year.

Did anyone just get a "Day in the Life" email from BU admissions this morning? Talk about a tease.

I received the complete email on 11/16. So this was just an extra reminder that they still have it. Phew. Not lost. Thanks BU. Have you checked out the student profiles and schedules? Nam doesn't do homework. And Michael's schedule scares me. They took quite a cross section.

Haha. Those videos always crack me up.

Based on last year's LSN, there should be a wave of decisions coming soon. 11/26 is Thanksgiving this year, but it was Wednesday last year, and today's Tuesday... so, I'm just saying.

Any rejections or waitlists before Thanksgiving? A little cruel if you ask me...

They all look like acceptances, even in to December. But it would be helpful if everyone would complete their LSN profiles so I might be more successful in obsessively trying to discern decision patterns!

Start leaving "friendly" reminders on their profile pages.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
