BU has no status check. how do you know you've been under review?
They send you an email to say that your file has been forwarded to the committee. I also have been under review for nearly two months.

You mean the email that states that the application is complete and ready for review? and that as soon as the committee makes a decision, we will be notified?

that doesn't necessarily mean its under review. unless there's another email i never got?

Yes, I meant that email. I don't think that one receives any further notification.

so how do you know you're under review, when the email only states that the application is ready for review, and that once a decision has been made, we will be notified?

unless you are saying that its a bad sign that you have been complete for so long?

It would seem that many people who got the "ready for review" email were notified soon after, so I took it to mean that "ready for review" meant "going in to review PDQ".

Hi all, I'm asking this for a friend - once you submitted your application, how long did you wait to find out whether you'd been admitted? Congrats to those who are in, and good luck to those still waiting!

Wait, nevermind.

I got an email requesting fall grades today - I was hoping to avoid letting anyone see that 0.1 drop. :?

Still waiting to hear from BU...

But did anyone else look at this: http://www.bu.edu/law/week-in-life/

What was the point of this? I'm kind of confused-- I study for undergrad more than most of these kids study for their law classes (as indicated by their schedules).

hmm just glanced at this. i hear 2nd yr is easier than 1st and 3rd is easier than 2nd (especially if you have a job lined up). The girl on the front is graduating in may. maybe shes not too worried..?

or maybe they are just pretending they have lives to trick us into going.

They should put class placements on those. How do we know those people aren't all at the bottom of their class? Hmmm??

True. When I looked at the first schedule, I figured that she was in her 3rd year of study.

Eh. My life in undergrad is way more interesting. They should admit me so that I can let them see my schedule. lol. I'm just kidding around.

So if there was no scholarship offer in the acceptance packet, is that it? Out of luck? Do they send some out later on?

I'm grasping for straws here.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
