Did NOT get to visit BU today

. Boarded Amtrak from Baltimore at 3:55 AM, was delayed three times before the flooding forced them to turn it around (in Rhode Island). No rental cars available (even back to New Haven), Greyhound wouldn't get in until 8:45, don't have any hotels available in my price range, etc.... So, I haven't left an Amtrak train (except across platforms) in 15 hours and I don't know if I'm going to be able to see BU at all now!

If I believed in God, I would curse it.

Of you who received Dean's scholarships, when did you receive them? For how much?

Of you who received BUSoL Scholarships, when did you receive them and how much did you get?

How many people received both?

Emailed about increasing my financial aid and got a very nice response saying they will take a look and let me know before April 15th. Fingers crossed.

WL by email. 3.8/163

Didn't really expect much more than that. I failed to hit my practice LSAT average on the real thing (170), so BU went from (probable) target to extreme reach.

I had a measure of hope when they emailed asking for some more information, and to follow up on some application materials. Seemed a bit odd.

I got waitlisted with a 173! Whatuuuuuup!

But I know someone who went there who was borderline retarded and looked like a combination of the stay puft marshmallow man and a refridgerator, so it's cool.

In at BU yesterday by email - 167, 3.67 international student. Submitted 1/27, complete 2/5. Didn't have to do the interview like some other internationals, but they did send me an email the day before I was accepted asking what I've been doing recently.

Will definitely be attending!

why do you have a gpa if you are int'l?

Waitlisted today with a 3.0/168. Received 3/2 no complete e-mail. Man BU would be amazing if I got in off the WL. When is the first deposit due/when do you guys think waitlisters will here?

3.67 is my GPA according to my undergrad school, but of course it's not an official lsac gpa, I just use it as an indicator really.
