So who else is everyone waiting to hear back from?

I'm waiting on Temple, Case Western, St. John's, and GW.

Which one of you is going to teach me to play the mandolin? Was that you or Sqvirrel?
That was rtl, I'm mostly talentless.
Oh, we're going to be so great together.

At this point: BC WL, Fordham, or I cozy up with my LSAT materials and beg someone down at Fordham admissions to write me a waiver so I can fail the LSAT again.

It's Friday, why am I so pessimistic right now?

Chin up, chin up
Everybody loves a happy face
Wear it, share it
It'll brighten up the darkest place
Twinkle, sparkle
Let a little sunshine in
You'll be on the right side
Looking at the bright side
Up with your chinny chin chin… :-D

Yea, that was me. I can see it now: law students by day, rock stars owning Arlene's Grocery at night.

EDIT: Or, law students by night, rock stars by late night.

I had a friend in a Chem E. class that had an 84. The way his professor curved, he was failing.

I thought this was bad until I realized on the LSAT anything less than 90th percentile is failing.

Nice, Lauren. Here's my entry....

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

Hey guys, does anyone know if there's still any merit aid left? I'm assuming there isn't, but the admissions office hasn't responded to my email asking.

So I've restrained myself from calling or e-mailing to check on my application thus far bc I've heard that annoying the admissions office is a legitimate concern with this sort of thing.

What do you guys think? Should I call or e-mail or give it until May 1 before I start to genuinely freak out.

I have the same concern. Still no word for me, but I have to make a decision by Friday so I'm calling them Monday if I haven't heard in Monday's mail.

Fair amount of people who went complete earlier than you are still frantically checking their status checkers, with no word yet.

Fair enough - I was just under the impression that most of them had contacted admissions already.

Complete 2/5, still nothing.

Also, I emailed them two weeks ago today and asked them to change my address because they didn't have the right one. Also, still nothing: no response and same incorrect address on my status checker.

I'd call about that.

So, although I still haven't heard from Fordham, my company has decided to send me on a week long conference in June to sunny New Jersey. On my birthday.

Yay?
