+100000000000

I hate status checkers. They should not exist.

I made a screen cap of mine when it finally changed. But oh, what a horrible wait! I checked that thing on the hour, until I heard people were being rejected, and I was afraid to go near it.

Or risking seeing an acceptance at work :). I was accepted at 1pm on a Friday. Needless to say, I bolted out of the office immediately due to a 0% chance of productivity.

Good luck guys.

And thanks for your ongoing help OS, lots to think about - I'll keep you updated on how everything goes.

Don't give up yet! The longer the wait, the more amazing all the acceptances will be!

For real.

Not me. I love the status checker. It makes me happy, knowing the possibility is there... Mind you, i'm working on the road and can only keep up with this insanity via you guys, today! Don't worry Fordham - you take as long as you need, to recognize how much you want me there next fall... I'll wait for you.

At this point I am getting concerned, not really about my chances (as those have not changed) but just that they will send out an email saying "Ooops, because we put these out 2 weeks later, you all are not finding out till the New Year"

In the words of Mariah: Fordham, all I want for Christmas...is you!

Love and luck. My roommate and I were admitted in May and July respectively (I had been waitlisted since January, and she was also waitlisted and retook in February for a 167). It could be a long wait, though my fingers are crossed that none of you will be waitlisted. We survived, and you will too, but it was brutal. Not going to lie.

Fingers crossed that more people will be accepted this week.

NancyB I <3 you heaps - may Fordham tell you and the others, immediately! But for me? As long as they say yes, I won't complain!

My problem is I have an acceptance from my 3rd choice school and it's in California! I own my apartment in NYC....so many issues if I have to leave!

Come on Fordham....

"Come and trim my chirstmas tree,
With some acceptances for TLSers and me
I really do believe in you,
Let's see if you believe in us to!"

(sorry, Christmas songs on the brain!)

i have to agree, the bottom line is I want to get in, I don't really care when I get the news. But obviously sooner is better than later.

Hehe, let's do it!

"I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on pressing
F-5 on your status page
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeers click
'Cause I just want you to update
To say that you want me tonight
What more can I do
Fordham all I want for Christmas is you
Ooh Fordham"

I think we should all sing NancyBotwin's version and post it on YouTube as a LOCI....but that might be overkill ;)
