Got my parents hooked this past Christmas, and they somehow watched all 5 seasons by the week season 6 premiered. These are people with pretty time consuming jobs...I was impressed.

I also spend quite a bit of time on Wednesday reading articles -- even the 7 page Doc Jensen ones haha.

Oh my god I had no idea that existed. I love you for just providing me with hours more entertainment.

I only have a few friends that are into the show, and only 1 is local, so in an effort to avoid bro date night we watch it separately then gush about it after.

yeah, I said 'gush' because that's the closest word I can use to describe it.

Lost is amazing. I always have to call my friend, though, so he can point out whatever I didn't catch, like random characters from three seasons ago. Then I read the lost diary (thelostdiary.com!). I think this week's episode was really good, which was really necessary after last week and the previous week which were...weak to say the least.

BTW, I thought Donnie Darko was funny, but it really creeped me out. I love the girl at the bus stop "CHUT UP!"

I think I'll spend the day watching my favorite old movies. Roman Holiday (since I will be spending my summer in Italy this year), Some Like it Hot, and maybe I'll throw in a new one that I haven't seen yet. We'll see.

If you're hungry for more Italy movies, A Room with a View is great (I lived in Florence so its a nice trip down memory lane).

PS: I'm the biggest LOST fan in the world but this season is the worst one so far IMHO.

I lived in Florence last spring for about 5 months, definitely the most amazing city in europe! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT

Just joking. Probably.

Mine wants to go with Ethan. I'd be okay with it if it wasn't something like the 5th most popular name in the country.

Ha, at least he didn't ask for Hurley. Although I will say that the show has ruined the name Jack for me, because I am not a fan.

Please don't tell me you want to name your child something that no one else has ever done, like 'bicycle wheel' or something.

+1!!!!!!!!!!!!...
I lived in italy for a summer in high school working as an au pair, spent only about a week in florence.... but I ended up having to call the embassy and they had to mediate with the nazis I was living with. I begged them to let me stay in florence for the rest of summer instead of going home early. they didn't like that idea.

oopsss that's a longer story but I have to go. my friend just texted me and there's a chicken coop expansion available on farmville!

ps. bc it happened while I was posting... I'd still do jack. what's the name of the not-locke guy?

Because nothing is really happening and there are still no answers, which kills me. I don't know, I don't really have a good reason but I just don't like it as much haha.

I was in Florence last spring too; given that its the world's smallest big city, and every American knows each other, I'm sure I saw you all the time haha...at Twice or Lion's Fountain or hanging around the Duomo lol. I've been there several times and its my favorite place in the whole world, and I will probably spend the rest of my life trying to get back there as much as possible. I lived with a host family that was amazing. I'm not even kidding when I tell you that part of my motivation to be a lawyer is to make a bucket of money and buy an apartment in Florence.

I loved Prague but man was it cold when I was there.

No I just don't want three other kids with the same name in his/her class. That sucks.

names ranked 70-somethingth are ideal, but anything ranked 20 or worse gets a shot.

Fair enough, just curious.

I was in Florence for a week in my junior year of college. That is easily regarded as the best time of my life.

The EA applicants have been looked at, already. The rest of us.... well, it's got to be fairly soon!

hahah definitely saw each other ALL the time. i had the best apartment dead in the middle between the duomo, the ponte vecchio, and piazza della republica. via dei cerchi represent!

and i haven't been to prague, i heard it's awesome, but one of the reasons i love florence so much is the smallness. you can walk anywhere, and everywhere you go, it looks exactly like it did 500 years ago. ugh i miss it! rome is okay, i liked it but it's not as visually amazing as florence is for me. there are so many cool places though in europe. on a trip to vienna, i took the train to bratislava, slovakia and stayed the night. the old city is gated in and it is the most beautiful place i've seen. definitely a must-see. edinburgh is amazing too. love the scottish people, so nice!

I lived a block away from the stadium right off Viale dei Mille. I personally don't like Rome at all-I always had to go there for "field trips" for my major (art history)...it always felt crowded and impersonal, and I missed how cute and charming "home" was.

I almost got kicked off a train in the middle of Bratislava, that was traumatizing. I actually sort of had the feeling the whole time we were on the train from Prague to Budapest that my life was about to turn into the movie Hostel. The sleeper train from Florence to Paris was by far the best train ride.

really? i hated that overnight train ride to paris. it was so gross, but i was more pissed that i didn't sleep at all and had a show to attend as soon as we got there. my class trip was during paris fashion week (i go to fashion school) and i was so much more interested in skipping the shows and escaping to versailles, but i didn't get the chance until about 3 months later when i went with my mom.

and i totally agree on rome. it pales in comparison to firenze.

I totally disagree. But then, my mom and I have a theory about this: people love one or the other. Much like Rome or Paris. New York or Boston. Apples and Oranges. There are good things, about both - but you feel more comfortable with one, than the other.

Yeah I mean technically the train to Paris was gross and smelly an dsmall but we had so much fun...luckily we had six girls in one compartment so we didn't have to be with any strangers or anything, and we brought lots of wine and random like, gourmet food. So we slept pretty well that night.

And I totally agree about either loving Firenze/Roma. I never met a person who could honestly say that they liked them both the same amount.

hah yeah, we had wine from the euro store (best place ever!) and all the girls in my cabin were my friends so we made the best of it.

yeah, that's very true about firenze/roma. i'm probably not the best person to ask because i thought venice was pretty but so boring, and i went for the last weekend of carnivale, and everyone loves venice.

Hahahahah I was there for the last weekend of carnivale, too. But yeah I agree completely: pretty but boring. Although carnivale at night after St. Mark's square cleared out a little and it was just drunk kids was pretty amazing.
