Thing I'm doing at work to pass the time RIGHT NOW: Washington Post crossword puzzle.

It's effective for occupying a few minutes of the day.

i used to do the USA today crossword and sudoku every day cause hotels always have a usa today lying around and I was always on the road. i miss those days...

Not sure, but it has not been quick. Totally guessing, but I'd say everyone waited at least a month.

Oh I hated the hotels, can't stay in them anymore. Once in a while, they're great, when you call them home, it's brutal.

LOL - I toured for a long time. Don't know why, just really enjoyed them. Nowadays... I like a 3 day trip, here and there. Dunno if I could go back to the full-time experience.
