Well, looks like im pretty much out of the running.

Anyone know how deep Fordham typically goes into their waitlist?

Good luck everyone else.

Sucks. Great GPA but LSAT score was lacking.
From what I hear pretty deep, which is why I wouldn't give up hope if it's your first choice, I know I'm not :D

How many of y'all have gotten acceptance packages yet? What happened to "before the new year?"

Lol my Fordham waitlist is becoming even more baffling by the day. Today I received a 105K scholarship from GW, a very similarly ranked and regarded school to Fordham. Not sure how, between two very similar schools, one can give you 105K, and the other doesn't even accept you. Go figure. Oh well, today is not a day to sulk!

No sir - and given that today seems to be a flood of WL's, I may be hiding under my desk for the rest of the afternoon.

My status checker did end up changing to the correct program. Wishful thinking that it would have stayed the other way. Oh well.

Got notification I was WL today, too....

Is there any policy on reaching out or getting in contact with admissions to let them know you're still interested and to what degree, or is it better left untouched??

Thanks--

WL'd.

So, if I get into another NY school, commit and then get into Fordham, am I allowed to "un-commit" to the other school? Do I just lose my deposit?

Today is my 36th day on the waitlist (yes, I'm counting the days like OS once did).

"The waiting is the hardest part..."

How's everyone else dealing with the waiting?

Do people who get in off the waitlist tend to get no scholarship money? I don't want to turn down the waitlist offer, because I really do love Fordham, but I have offers of 25K a year from BU and 30K a year + housing from GW and I don't know if I should even bother waiting it out on Fordham only to get in and be asked to pay sticker (which I doubt I could do, even considering I live close enough to NY to commute)

my status checker page has looked the same for almost two month. At one point it changed to "recommendation received" but then on dev 8th they switched it back to complete. le sigh.

please love me fordham. i wonder if I visit the admissions office wearing pheremone perfume if that would naturally draw them towards me and make them accept me? :p

Posts like this make me wonder. Fordham has not been known for YP, but could this be the year?

No..I think the same as there are those freak occurences where somebody with low numbers gets in just cuz they liked their app, it could also be that they didnt like something in the app enough to make them not accept right away, but wanted to keep the applicant incase they need the numbers later on.

my theory as to the 28319023 waitlists is that the bulk of their apps arent in yet and so theyre trying to get a better look at the whole applicant pool before making final decisions. just a guess though.
