Same here. I think a lot of people went complete that day, and the theory goes that they've been going by submission date. When did you submit?goosey wrote:complete 11/2...pt...no word. is this expected?

I accidentally deleted the status checker email without setting it up. Any ideas for how I can access it without knowing the initial code?

HAHA FML. I guess I'll have to wait until I get the letter in the mail.km23 wrote:Fordham's email said this:Cupidity wrote:I accidentally deleted the status checker email without setting it up. Any ideas for how I can access it without knowing the initial code?
"Please save your new password because our office cannot access it for you. If you do misplace your password, you will need to call our office and we can reset it for you. "

Have any accepted students gotten a merit scholarship offer with their acceptance package this year?

I don't really want to think about this yet, but I've been wondering if any of these "decision dates" are really just empty promises.
Are schools actually faithful to them? Or do they tend to let them pass and deal with the disgruntled phone calls? I hope for the former, and dread the latter.

So the radio had the nerve to play "Working for the Weekend" this morning. That's not a Monday song!
I have no idea what it means for this week.

I believe they will keep to the promise. Or if they have to break it, they will send an extremely appologetic email. There are a lot of people on this board and in the applicant pool with 167s/168s that they would still like to sway into their class to get the median up, no school is going to do something to deliberately piss off candidates they will likely accept.beebs wrote:I don't really want to think about this yet, but I've been wondering if any of these "decision dates" are really just empty promises.

A lot of us might see "deffered to regular admission" but as long as they send it by Dec. 15th, we cannot bitch that they failed to live up to their committments.

Have people been getting in via the status checker without getting an email?
Also, does scholarship info come with the mailed acceptance package?

Does Fordham's status checker go to "in review"? I'm EA and it would appear they have yet to look at my application.

Good, I was worried their review process was not exactly looking holistic...tram988 wrote:Mine went from complete to accepted.beef wellington wrote:Does Fordham's status checker go to "in review"? I'm EA and it would appear they have yet to look at my application.

I called the admissions office on thursday or friday of last week, i think it was, and the woman that I spoke to informed me (somewhat irately) that as of now, they are planning on meeting the Dec. 15 EA deadline.beebs wrote:I don't really want to think about this yet, but I've been wondering if any of these "decision dates" are really just empty promises.

I can understand the irrate-ness of the admissions offive. While I am sure jk11287 was polite and just wanted some information, probably a lot of other applicants are not so respectful. I am sure there are some folks with 170+ who are outright hostile that they have been kept waiting.bowie8285 wrote:jk11287 wrote:I called the admissions office on thursday or friday of last week, i think it was, and the woman that I spoke to informed me (somewhat irately) that as of now, they are planning on meeting the Dec. 15 EA deadline.beebs wrote:I don't really want to think about this yet, but I've been wondering if any of these "decision dates" are really just empty promises.

Yeah, I know, calling the admissions office is sort of obnoxious but I've been under review or complete or whatever since 10/19 and its really frustrating to watch tons of people that submitted in late Nov. receive decisions first, you know?RubyDoomsday wrote:I can understand the irrate-ness of the admissions offive. As long as you were resepctful of their time, I doubt it will hurt you. If you kept it short and were politely, I doubt anyone even remembers you calledjk11287 wrote: Yeah, I know, calling the admissions office is sort of obnoxious but I've been under review or complete or whatever since 10/19 and its really frustrating to watch tons of people that submitted in late Nov. receive decisions first, you know?
What I don't understand those people who want to act like jerks towards the assistants working for the adcom....like, seriously, you do not think this person might mention to their boss you were an ass? If you are anything but an auto-admitt, you probably screwed yourself over. It always helps to remember that you need a good law school more than a good law school needs you
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
