Have any of the ED folk gone complete yet? I only just received my "application received e-mail". I seriously don't think I can stand to wait till December for a decision.

From checking on LSN it looks like the last few years people have started hearing back the first two weeks of December. I think the earliest I saw was the first week, like the 4th.pikalove wrote:Does anyone have an idea when ED people started hearing back last year??
I am so impatient....
Thanks Drew... thats good to know! I'm glad I'm not the only person nosing through the TLS archives for useful tidbitsDrew2010 wrote: From checking on LSN it looks like the last few years people have started hearing back the first two weeks of December. You sure will!!............ eventuallyBlazers4Life wrote:Application submitted via LSAC yesterday; ED contact mailed this morning. Feels good. So, are they going to send an email letting me know they got everything?

what is the "status" we want before the deadline? "complete" or "received"?bazoogakitty wrote:Hi! Also applying ED to NYU... App received email came on 11/4, have not received complete email yet.
Don't count on it. So you finally decided to take the early decision plunge after all those Columbia v NYU v $@T-14 threads huh? If you don't mind me asking, what sealed the deal for you?Blazers4Life wrote:Application submitted via LSAC yesterday; ED contract mailed this morning. Feels good. All the research and energy I've put into debating between these two schools has really set me up for disappointment in the event I get shut out from both. That's probably not fair to the other schools I've devoted less attention to (e.g. I'm sure I'll be happy at Michigan if it comes to that), but that's the reality. Plus, my gut feeling is that I'll fit in better at NYU than CLS anyway.ravens20 wrote:Don't count on it. Loooove it.ChaotiCait wrote:My friend went to an ASD at both NYU and Columbia. At Columbia, they had sushi, wine, and chamber music. At NYU, they had pizza, beer, and karaoke. Thats how I know I made the right choice
Hahahahah. I know EXACTLY what you mean. My SO needs to know asap where we are moving so he can try and find a job...... and I can't bear to break the news to him that I'll probably be put on the waiting list and won't know for MONTHS. Uuuuggghh, now I need a drink.....Drew2010 wrote:I'm going crazy waiting to hear back from NYU.. if I get accepted I'm moving up there in January, and I just want to know!!!
Blah...
Blah some more...
I need a drink, and it's only 9:41 AM...
