Congrats to all! This thread isn't out of hand like some of the others, but the U makes me so nervous. Yikes I'm scared!

I was WL'ed w/ similar numbers and I know of some scores around and even below ours that have gotten in.

Don't give up hope!

thanks guys for the encouragement, I'm still freaking out though, one acceptance before christmas would be great ::nudge nudge UMN::

Slimpee, do you mean you were WL'ed last cycle or this one? Did you get off the WL? When did you hear?

PS- I have a feeling I'm gonna own the WL's this year! Own them!

I was WL'ed this year, applied ED. I heard they took a lot of people from the WL last year but there's no telling what'll happen this year.

Slimpee, are you in-state? I was straight dinged from UMN, and we have the same numbers. Just trying to wrap my head around this.

Makes sense, thanks. Best of luck, Slimp. I'll keep up with your LSN.

Good luck to you folks who are still awaiting a decision

In today via phone call. He dragged out saying "Minnesota" until too many words into the introduction, but fortunately having family up there meant I could identify his accent pretty quickly :)

Accepted today via voicemail. I never got so much as an "application received" e-mail, so this was a huge shocker!

IN with full tuition scholarship!

I grew up in MN, but haven't lived there since high school, so this is really exciting for me!

Congrats! Just like me, except +1.0 on the GPA. ... so, perhaps not like me at all.

I just applied pretty recently, so probably have some waiting to do. When did you go "In review", if you don't mind my asking?

Thanks! In review 11/12, with no changes to the status checker as of earlier today. Haven't checked since the phone call -- too busy sharing the news! My family is thrilled!
