Re: Minnesota 2010!
Got Waitlisted today.
LSAT: 161
GPA: 3.6
Really good softs with Law Enforcement experience.
Just wanted people's thoughts on my chance of getting off the waitlist and into the Class of 2013.

MN is WL'ing all sorts of people. It'll be tough to say. I think last year was a good year for waitlisters but with their splitter-friendly change this year who knows...phillyinnewyork wrote:Got Waitlisted today.

Waitlisted today. According to LSN, no one has been accepted since mid-February. Seems like they pretty much have a full class already, which is interesting because their app deadline is so late.

Reading over the waitlist FAQ, does it seem to you guys that they'd appreciate a LOCI? The no redundant materials part is what makes me think maybe not...

Re: Minnesota 2010!
I've been under review since late Feb I think. Any idea when I'll hear back?
There must be seats left -- their deadline isn't until 4/15.

Re: Minnesota 2010!
I was also a complete 1/13 and my status tracker changed for the first time today.
I'm getting a little frustrated... it has been 12 weeks (which is what I consider to be the upper end of a reasonable review period), and on LSN, there is a small army of people who were complete after me but have a decision. Meanwhile, even if I was admitted, I don't think I'd have time to visit the campus before the seat deposit.

Nope, North Dakota (originally from Illinois). I just liked a lot about the school and the crazy schollies they offer.NewtonLied wrote:You applied to Stetson. From Florida?84Sunbird2000 wrote: +1 ftt (for the tie)

Re: Minnesota 2010!
In review 2/5. Called today for the first time to ascertain when I might receive a decision. Was summarily blown off. To paraphrase their response: "IDK when we'll get back to you. Maybe we never will. Either way, you'll be the last to know."
I think this is a good sign.

Splitter friendly change? This worries me.

If you look at the LSN data, they seem to be trying to increase their median LSAT.ihatethelsat wrote:

Re: Minnesota 2010!
I have a theory... I think they're holding a bunch of applications until after the deposit deadline. I've been U/R since 1/13, and LSN shows a small army of applications with decisions that were complete after me.
Tomorrow will be twelve weeks... that is a long time for an application to be in review.
(Sigh.) I guess at least they're not as bad as Cornell.
