You gonna start a thread for every school you applied to?

In response to your Minnesota thread, yes I did apply to Minnesota.
In response to your Illinois thread, yes I did apply to Illinois.

Good luck to you on both fronts.

Under Review as of today. As much as i'm gunning for the NE/DC, i absolutely love Minnesotta, and it's one of my top choices. Hopefully they send out decisions soon.

Looking at LSN decisions went out/were received in midd November to early December for the people who applied in Sept-Mid Octoboer. So hopefully we should be hearing back in 3 weeks or so.

Word is it takes as little as three weeks if it's in by mid-late October. So at this point, I would hope for three weeks and maybe expect a little longer.

In review as of 10/19!

Why would UMinnesota make applicants disclose all traffic law violations?

Do i really need to dig up my driving record to get the details on speeding tickets?

Anyone have any info on this? Are speeding tickets an exception to this character and fitness disclosure like everywhere else i've seen?

This is all that is holding me up on submitting my app and it's bugging me!

What are you referring to? I think they just as for non speeding related driving offenses as long as it isnt 400 bucks for recklessdriving.

I think that the "arrested for/charged with" excludes simple speeding tickets, but if you are paranoid, call the school.

Anybody else thankful that we don't have to disclose parking tickets. That addendum would be like 8 pages for me

I think we have a pretty similar cycle. I've been checking it five times a day. The complete email said 10 weeks or so, but I'm pretty sure they started sending replies mid-November last year, so it could be any day.

A admin rep for UMN, as well as others for other minnesota schools, is talking at my school in 2.5 hours. Anyone have any legit questions that want me to ask for them?

Yes. Minnesota does not have a good track record with producing Article III clerkships (last year's SCOTUS clerk notwithstanding). What programs are they implementing to help students remain competitive in the prospective clerking pool?

Thanks!

I've had trouble gathering how students have placed in major markets on the East Coast. How does UMN compare with its similarly ranked EC counterparts, like Fordham, GW, BC, W&M, etc.? More specifically, how have Minn. graduates fared in the current market compared to these schools?

Also, if you can, what would they recommend that WL'd students (as this is a good possibility for me) do to increase their chances of securing admission? Is there anything specific they look for?

Thanks.

Alright. If I get the chance, I will ask them these things, and report answers later tonight. I will try to check this thread again before it starts to see if there are any additional questions.

Sorry all. I'm an idiot. Some stuff happened this weekend and I have been out of it since. The meeting was yesterday and I missed it because I thought today was the 4th. Sorry, I feel dumb now.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
