I received a PM from someone wanting to know my numbers. It's in my profile and for some reason I couldn't PM a reply because "no receipt is defined" or something.

I have a 160/3.02 URM. I wanted to ask Mr. Faulk why I was accepted but he seemed fairly busy. I'm convinced that it was my resume and my Personal Statement that sealed the deal.

Good luck to the rest of ya'll!

I think this is the week we'll see some serious RD movement. Why do I think this? Because it's about time, dammit.

I think that UVA might be going for a 171 median.

Calm down, youngin', you still have a lot of growin' up to do. I've been complete since 'Nam (9/18).

Did you have to walk both ways uphill in the snow with no shoes for that complete? :D

How does UVA reject people? Status checker, email, or snailmail?

My ED app changed complete dates again so I'm trying to figure out how to brace myself for the decision.

They ignore you until you withdraw, I'm pretty sure.

What's up with the void around the 172-173, 3.6-3.7 range? Is there some reason they would think to not accept that group but still accept higher people?

I'd fill that hole nicely!

Really, there's a big hole from 3.6-3.8 from 171 upward. Just two acceptances and two wait-lists in there. I'm one of the acceptances, and I'm guessing it's only because I'm in-state. It does look strange on the graph, though.

Literally LOL'd.

Totally conjecture on my part...but I think that gap in the 172, 3.5-3.8 range is going to be the wave of RD admits later this month (or potentially later given the new ED deadline). Someone on here proposed that UVA may be trying to move their LSAT median this year. If they can stack the deck with all those ED applicants early, then start pulling from that 172-173 LSAT pile of RDs, they can probably pull that off. So, I think that area of the graph is relatively safe and will get acceptances....

That being said, I'm in that gap and am totally nervous about having heard nothing since September.

I pride myself on noticing comments like that on other peoples' posts. But when I say it, don't even notice.
