With numbers below both medians you are probably screwed.
That was not a nice way of putting that yoda.
Your right, I'm kinda in a bad mood right now. The general point stands though.

This week?? Transfers don't typically take place in the middle of a semester, and classes here started two full weeks ago...

I suspect that she may have been accepted as a transfer this week.

UVA doesn't have an EA transfer program as far as I'm aware. I think they behave like most schools and wait for second-semester grades before making any transfer decisions.

everyone whose status date changed today but didn't hear any news- when did you go complete? 1/7 here. LSN seems to indicate that today's waitlists were november/december completes, or URMs. right??? reassure me :?

I went complete 12/16 and have never updated. I know it means nothing, but I'd still like to see it change! At least it might mean my file had been shuffled around...

Hey, I went complete 11/16 and have never updated. I was frustrated for awhile, but I now consider my UVA status a comforting constant, like the sound of birds chirping in the morning or the sun setting in the west. If my UVA status ever changes, I will be confused and afraid.

So will the admissions office be closed tomorrow? I know there's more snow on the way.

Sorry, jocelyne :(

I consider my 11/12 UVA status a sign that I've been WL'd or rejected.

Well the school and admissions are both open today. It looks like they shouldn't be getting more than 10 inches, if that. The lady who answered the phone didn't seem to think it would be closed tomorrow "well it depends on the snow... but someone should be here tomorrow"...

I'm in C'ville right now, and it's not doing much of anything. We're supposed to get anywhere from 4 to 8 more inches, but the University should still remain open regardless.

What's the process to change your application to ED? Do you just mail in the form to their office?

I just got accepted yesterday!!! Not sure when I was complete, but I submitted my application in mid-december.

Good luck to all those who are still waiting. :)

Snow is coming down pretty good right now. I'd expect a lot of things to be closed here tomorrow.
