For people who have been accepted, could someone tell me what their status checker says?

DId it only changed after the call? I am trying to see if the date change means anything (I suspect it doesnt, but hope it does), did anything change before you got the email?

Mine didn't change until about 3-4 hours after the call, presumably when they sent the letter.

Those of you who have received your acceptance packages, does it have scholarship info or do you have to send back another form before that?

No scholarship info for me, but that could also be because I won't get a scholarship. We'll see.

This seems to be a mixed bag. My package didn't have any such information in it (likely no scholly for me). But, I have heard from at least one person that there's had information about the dean's scholarship that they were receiving. I have also heard from at least one person that says when they asked they were told that such information would be forthcoming. The package is huge, but it seems that it does not usually come with that information.

10/27 and still waiting. I would think a decision would come sometime between Thanksgiving and Xmas.

You would think the same for me, since I only live 3 hours away, but I'm not all that surprised. Although if it is kind of thick, it's possible the front desk is holding it for me and haven't put a slip on my box yet.

I got my packet, it was a front desk fail. Very thick, although doesn't say anything about scholly info, so either I'm out of luck or that will come later.

IIRC, UVA is really erratic with app processing. With the bump in apps last year, they may err on the side of caution at the start, so don't get too discouraged.

Thanks. I'm hoping they are just debating on how much scholarship to give me...LOL.

I think a lot of these schools got swamped with early apps this year. Frankly, I'm amazed that they get through as many as they do (assuming they read every one as stated in the interviews).
