168 is the LSAT floor this year, according to the admissions office. They did not have GPA/LSAT floors last year.
Well we'll see what they do to match my vandy offer... Strange that (at least according to LSN) this year vandy seems to be both more selective and give out more money.

I got a merit scholarship and I am below both their GPA and LSAT "cutoffs" for scholarships. I think it depends on the entire applicant and if there are special circumstances why you might not have met a cutoff.

If your LSN is correct, then it is because you are URM, likely. The same cutoffs do not apply for URMs, from what I have heard.

Anyone else waiting to hear from Texas? What's the latest we'll hear from admissions? I submitted my app mid-January.

I'm still waiting. Submitted begining of Dec. This is a huge reach for me so I'm kind of stoked they didn't just toss my app in the shredder.

Oh... that would make sense. A couple of fibbers on LSN.
I was told 167 is the floor and don't remember the GPA floor. I'm a splitter in the sense that my GPA is high enough but my LSAT barley makes the last quartile. Once I heard the LSAT I didn't bother remembering the GPA.

Lol, you may be right. I only cared about that GPA floor *sigh*

It only matters for the initial scholarship offer, not the matching program.

so for those of you who received the high $ scholarship offers, what were yalls scores? i was just wondering; i received a scholarship offer but it was much lower lower than any of these $84,000 offers and the like lol. in addition, does anybody know when or how one goes about possibly asking for more? like most of you probably, i have to pay for all of it myself and i need all of the help i can get..so any input?

The offers that are $60k or more include the amount that is covered by awarding in-state tuition. Besides that it seems to be a
very standard formula depending on your LSAT score and meeting the GPA floor. Check out LawSchoolNumbers to see what specific LSATs translated to, but there seems to be very little variation in awards among similar LSAT numbers (besides the difference in the amount people report depending on their residency).

+1 have been UR since 1/22
It's mostly been a string of WLs since late February for me, could really use some good news this week...

Did anyone get the email reminder about the non-trad breakfast? I never signed up for that, so I'm not sure if I'm classified as non-trad right now.

I stand corrected - it says :
"Complete... Your JD application was processed on January 22, 2010 and is currently being considered for Regular Decision."
So I might not even be under review. Oy. Oh well, in any case good luck to the others still waiting and congrats to all those who've been accepted! As a native Oklahoman eager to shed his OU ancestry and head to the far better law school in the rivalry, I'm hoping all the out of state seats haven't already been snatched up.
