What the heck. My application has been in committee since 11/17 =(

Why have you all heard so quickly and I've heard nothing???? Whyyyyy.

3.34/158(retaking but didn't tell them... they sent it to committee anyway so I assume they're not waiting)

Maybe it's because I applied w/ two special committees?

Most people have heard back so quickly because they have auto-admit numbers.
Also, whatever those two special committees are might be slowing yours up as well.

And instead of just assuming you can call or email the financial aid office to find out the real answers.
Thanks...but I read that before posting and it doesn't really provide a solid answer. Though it says they're "generally" renewed, I don't trust that at all if it's not in writing.

I'll probably email them soon. I'll let those of you who are interested know what I find out.
Yeah it would be great if you would let us know.

I got in a few weeks ago and then got a letter last week. They gave me an 11K a year scholarship. I'm not sure if this is where I'll go, because I've applied to 20 different places, but so far so go.

It doesn't seem like a lot of them are auto-admit... it must be the committees. That or they hate me =(

Well, those who have gotten in have at least been admits, whereas you are closer to being on the fence.

meh. I applied because they gave me a fee waiver, not because I actually had any interest. But now... I'm interested. I should have waited until I got my second lsat to submit. Stupid scoring-seven-points-lower-than-my-practice-minimum.

I do have an addendum for gpa (illness).

When is it? I did read on their website about an admit weekend for minority students, thinking about attending that one. Does Santa Clara offer an travel reimbursement?? If so, I'll definitely be there!

I think there's one in late January for all admitted students. I don't think it's listed on the website, it's somewhere on a paper in the admissions packet. I can give you the date when I get home or someone else can chime in.

As for reimbursements... haven't heard anything about them. It doesn't matter for me as I live like 10 miles from the school lol.

I think the first one is shorter in time length than the others. If I recall correctly, there are 3 ASD events, and the first one is for students accepted "early." If the dates aren't posted here by the time I get home, I'll post them.

I doubt they do reimbursements, but maybe they will.

ah, yea, I forgot to post these last night. So ASD#1 and ASD#2 are longer and will likely me more in-depth/have more people. I will definitely try to be out west for one of those.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
