I have visited yet either. I wish I had when I was out west, but I should be able to visit this year.

I only live two hours away, so I guess I should get my ass down there. What other CA schools are you applying to?

They haven't replied to my emails. I know that much.
And one if their professors is suing Above the Law after they wrote about him soliciting a prostitute for $20 ... oh, looks like he just dismissed it.

Congrats everyone!

I didn't apply, but I did get an email from them that was from, "Santa" according to my gmail preview. That makes them awesome.

For those that have received acceptances, did you find out that you were accepted online? And were you all EA or EDs? Thanks, and congrats!

I'm trying to pick some more safety schools in CA, so I was wondering if you guys can tell me a little bit about why you chose Santa Clara? What attracted you?

It's a really well respected school in the south bay. I'm from mountain view, and everyone knows and has good things to say about the school. My friend's cousin went there, did IP law, and now makes big bucks at Fenwick and West in Mountain View.

It is a great school! I am from the Bay Area, and I have always heard of SCU Law as a top a school. It's students ARE competitive with those from Hastings no matter what anyone tells you. The school has a great philosophy on education in general and the campus is really upscale in my opinion. It is in the heart of silicon valley and internship and externship possibility are abundant.

It is one of my top choices, though probably a bit of reach.

Really, huh. I applied to a few schools on the same day, and some say I went complete in about a day.

A school can either request the report as an electronic image or as a paper report. The paper reports take a while since they are mailed.

The thing is though, on LSAC it says that it is submitted and you can even see the PDF version of the report, and it has been that way for over a week

yeah, that happened to me. the report usually gets submitted the day after you apply. then they mail it, the school gets it, sorts it, files it, does whatever they do to it, then they send it into review or whatever, then probably tell a secretary to update your status checker and she might take a day or two. basically, it could take 10 days or so.
