Not for me. Any interesting news for you?

I hope some good news comes out of my status soon. Or news at all. Honestly if I get rejected, I'll be dissapointed, but at least I'll know. Come on Cornellia, hurry the fuck up!

Thanks, I'm including this in my LOCI. :) I often wonder how highly online personality correlates to real life personality. Some people I just think MUST actually be that way for better or worse.
I can be pretty much just like my online personality: helpful but underhandedly condescending.
Me too. Generally reasonable, occasionally cranky.

Yep.

I'll let you know exactly HOW interesting in a couple of days.

Are we really arguing about online personality? Cornell, please give us our decisions already so that we can go back to leading normal lives and get off our damned computers.

This is bizarrely cryptic. I am assuming you went to DR? Do you have admitted student links? If you call they'll tell you over the phone. Why wait a few days?

I dunno, but I'm leaning against it.

For one, they say not to. But also, I don't want them to be answering phones when they should be reviewing other people's apps. As much as I revile snail mail, I figure I can wait till it gets here.

Hmm.

They'll tell me over the phone? The status checker says to wait 10-14 days.

Yes if you call they are very nice and helpful and tell you right away.

But they usually dont change the status checker until they think the mail will have reached your house.

I called from work and got my answer. But, when i got home, it was there waiting for me!

I'll probably wait.

I know its torture, but I'm really on the margins, and if the outcome isn't what I want, I need to have something tangible in my hands to vent my frustration.

Something that isn't expensive like a phone, right? A piece of paper is much better to project your anger onto.

Ha, you have SO much more patience than I do. If you have admitted student links, congrats you're in! Otherwise, it may be less than awesome news. (I think all recent admits have the links, correct?)

LOL. Precisely.

My Droid does seem to be built like a tank, but it would probably be unwise to test its impact resistance.

But I thought that droid does everything  marketing fails again.

You gotta admit, though, that it would be a really cool feature to market: "Can withstand being hurled at up to 30 m/s into the nearest hard surface upon notification of unfavorable grad school admission outcome."

Very niche market, but I like it.

So excluding the reserve list, Cornell does have a waitlist group compiled, correct?

That is scary to see those number (very very similar to mine) on the waitlist. But oddly comforting to know that applying early action may not have had a negative affect, since similar numbers are getting the same results.
