Have you called them? I think that may get more done than badmouthing them online.

Why do you guys get so sensitive about me insulting Cornell? They did fuck us over you know. We paid money for this app and they basically are making us pay deadlines for schools without even a peep--some people aren't even complete yet. It's pathetic. Hire some more people, Cornell.

Just received the 'reserve' letter and am totally OK with it! Already informed them to keep me on the list and will be sending additional recs and LOCI (already sent one in Feb)!

I had everything sent in to Cornell by mid-January, but didn't go complete according to their status checker until 2/17. They said, though, that applications would be considered complete based on when all materials were received, not on when the status checker changed...doesn't that mean that I should be expecting a decision within 8-12 weeks of the 2/1 deadline? That would be the end of this week...I'M GOING CRAZY OVER HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, Cornell has really overdone it with these incredibly late responses to applications. Such an irresponsible admissions committee.

Hell no, I still want in despite the outrageous way they have been handling applications. Every other school is practically done and these fucks aren't even close. Do they have like one 80-year old amnesia-infested grandma doing all the work? What the heck is going on, Cornellia?

I will cry if you get in. I can only hope your obnoxious sense of entitlement seeps through in your personal statement.

ROFL, sense of entitlement. As if I sent in an application for free, right? But no. I actually paid almost $100 to have it looked at and responded to in a timely manner. These fucks took 6 months just to put me on "complete" status. Yes, I do feel entitled to a timely response to my application, regardless of the decision. That's called common sense buddy, look it up.

Thanks, I'm including this in my LOCI. :) I often wonder how highly online personality correlates to real life personality. Some people I just think MUST actually be that way for better or worse.

I can be pretty much just like my online personality: helpful but underhandedly condescending.
