Sorry, I should clarify that I decided to save myself some grief and only check status checkers twice a week. My decision was supposedly rendered on Thursday.

when did you go complete? thanks

I'm 3.6 and 171 - in a normal year that would be pretty solid for Cornell, but this year is weird. I didn't get any e-mails or phone calls or anything.

Hi XXXXX,
As of 03/11/2010 your application status is:

Decision

The Admissions Committee has reached decision on your application file and you will receive a written decision soon. Please be patient with the postal system. Please wait for 10 to 14 days to receive your written decision before contacting the Admissions Office.

Complete 12/something
Was Under review since 02/02

I'm not a solid accept, so we'll see whats in them cards.

So nobody has any opinion on this? I actually so have a major accomplishment to update them on that is not mentioned anywhere else in my application.

What do you want? If you think the accomplishment is worth writing them a letter for, then write it.

It wont hurt you at all. Best case scenario: It helps. Worst case scenario: No one gives it much more than a glance, cause they probably have LOCI's out the ass at Cornell right now.

I'm assuming I'm going to eventually be dinged, but I thought I would apply here anyways. I applied late after my February LSAT score, but the admissions office said that it would be okay. I have a specific interest in Cornell's labor law clinic. I'm hoping that and my WE and my graduate degree help override my GPA. Either way, I needed to apply to at least one reach.

I'm still waiting for my file to even to "complete" though. The only thing that they might not have is the Dean's certification. Sent that to my undergrad one week ago, so it may be getting there early this week.

Good luck everyone. I think I just paid $80 for a nice rejection letter from Cornell, but I had to take a chance.

In my area its usually 12-130 but I think it probably varies.

I just went decision rendered, but I can link to the admitted students discussion site, etc. Is this a guaranteed in, or does everyone get this?

Oh, well, shit. I hadn't realized the financial aid deadline was, well, today and hadn't considered it yet because I hadn't been accepted. How screwed are you if you turn it in late?

They give you like a week or so from acceptance after 3/15 to fill out the Cornell FA sheet. But, the FAFSA and need access probably should have been filled out prior to the deadline.

Am I in significant trouble if they haven't been yet?
