Closed at 12:45 on a Monday? I'm guessing they are on lunch. Try back at 2pm.

Accepted last week. Anyone have info on Cornell's generosity with URM applicants? Some financial help would sway me considerably.

Received acceptance packet in the mail today. No mention of scholarship - so I guess that means I'm not under consideration for anything? Damn, I don't know how I'm going to make this work. :?

11/13 for me. I have more or less consigned myself to the fact that I'll be deferred :?

Is anybody still EAC anything other than borderline or splitter? I'm assuming that the autoadmit and likely-admit numbers have mostly been filtered.

LSP has me at Admit: 93%, but I guess I am somewhat of a splitter and from a state school.

Nothing over 3.3 is a splitter, especially at Cornell. I'd call you autoadmit, so you could easily be deferred.

I'm still EAC 11/11...169/3.72, so definitely not a splitter....

Mine had no scholarship info either. Guess I'll give them a call after the Christmas break and find out what the deal is. If I'm not going to be considered for any merit aid I'll be withdrawing and hopefully opening up a spot for one of you guys.

LSP had me at a "strong consider," FWIW. I'm EAC 11/20 (submitted regular decision, went complete on the 16th, then they asked me if I wanted to be EA). I'm hoping that just means I'm at the bottom of the pile...

My optimism is dwindling, though. Cornell, if you reject or defer me, I'm taking up permanent residence on the USS Bitter Pessimism.
