LOOK
Please visit our Admitted Student Day RSVP Website!

John, now that you have checked out the status of your application, please feel free to see what other Cornell Law School applicants are talking about on the Admitted Student Discussion Site.

How the Discussion Site Works
As an admitted student to our law school you are welcome to join the Cornell Law School Community via a Discussion Group and Chatroom that we have established. Once you obtain your admission decision, just click on the link to join the online discussion site. Just click on a particular forum to join the community. If you have questions, click on the Help (the lifesaver Icon) for assistance.

Discussion Board
The purpose of this discussion board is for our admitted students to interact with each other and the law school through electronic means. The Admissions Office will check this board on a frequent basis but we will not be able to immediately reply to all posts although we will try our best. We expect and hope a community develops, so please feel free to assist your colleagues by answering a question you know the answer to if you are in a position to do so. Some posts may require individual replies, so do not be surprised if not every post receives a public reply.

Chat Room
The purpose of this chatroom is to facilitate your discussions with us. We will let you know the specific dates and times that someone will be available in the chatroom. The chatroom presents an excellent opportunity to talk to us in a real time setting.

Usage Policy
The internet provides a great opportunity for each admitted student to communicate with the admissions office, other admitted students and other persons at the law school. We fully anticipate that each participant will treat others with the utmost respect and dignity. In order to maintain a welcoming environment for all persons, we reserve the right to remove any post on the Discussion Group or individual from the Chatroom at our sole discretion. The Chat sessions are accessed through the Discussion Group.

Safe to say I'm In!?!? That would be a sick, sick joke if they do they to me and I'm not in. 169/3.6ish by the way. What's everyone think am I in?

are you DR at 12/7 or 12/8?

12/8, I'll be calling in first thing tomorrow just to make sure its not a typo but this acceptance would be awesome if its true!

Decision 12/08!!

I'm guessing this means they update as it rolls over to the next day (midnight eastern).

As the other poster mentioned, it says:

Same stuff about Admitted Students Day.

DR 12/08

edit: Technically not sure if Admitted Students day means acceptance yet. Better safe than sorry.

I'm guessing, either that or a deferral.

I'm still at EAC, 11/17. The wackiness continues.

I hope that, when Cornell consults its magic 8 ball about my application at some point this month, all signs will point to yes.

Holy crap. DR 12/8, same link to Admitted Students site. If it's an actual acceptance, I can't believe all the great news I've gotten in the past 24 hours.

LSAT around 75%, GPA around median. EAC 11/11.

Congrats all around! :) Looks Cornell wants to give an overload of good news after all that waiting.

O.M.G. Our numbers are so similar it's scary - in a good and hopeful way. You're not URM are you? Or a cancer curer? Or a nobel prize winner?

well @169 and gpa over 3.4 but below 3.6, 11/11 were accepted on lsn
@ 169 and gpa under 3.4 to 3.15 only 1/6 were accepted.

@ 168 it seems you need at least a 3.5....even with a gpa from above 3.5 and below 3.6 only 5/10 were accepted.

Non-URM. Cornell '95 and a lot of graduate work plus work experience since then. Mid-career changer. I'm also a re-applicant from last year; glad to have finally gotten in (if this isn't a joke). I may visit the law school office tomorrow just to make sure!

Best of luck; I'm sure you'll get in, if you haven't already. Did you check status?
