This is helpful. Now I will only check my Cornell status once a day.

I think it happens throughout the night. However, I checked my status at 7 am and it was still EAC complete. Checked it again at 8 and it was Decision, so I think it might go in waves but all before the office opens.

In with more or less auto-admit numbers.

Does anyone know anything about the Dean's Scholarship? I think she said 40k/yr and you have to do a 500 word essay. Anyone know how many people normally get the scholarship actually?

Yes, if Cornell behaves the same as it did with its three previous waves.

Did the person who got the letter in the mail have decision rendered on their status checker?

They decided to go with the 10 person class this year. Of coarse that is assuming 100 percent yield. Bold Move on their part.

Seems more like 5 or 6. Around five are up on LSN, most of which I assume are posters here. Hard to get an idea of how many decisions Cornell put out there today given that one has tof irst check the status checker and then call the admissions office to know for sure.

i don't think any of the 12/7 DR have received the mail yet. Most likely later this week or early next week.

Others on LSN who received their mail are from a DR earlier which are all/mostly rejections.

Just got in! They told me over the phone since the decision was sent to my school address and I'm home now. I'm also being considered for the Dean's Scholarship....wow!!

Good luck everyone!

Yes, most people won't call. They will wait for either the email or snail mail then update their LSN profile.

Sure! I'm 170/3.8 and went complete in early October (I'm afraid I don't remember the exact date...I submitted my apps on 9/25).

Haha yes. I want the # of the girl who tolerated him for 11 months. I feel like I am moderately less pathetic than he is, so I probably have a pretty good shot.
