Has everyone that's been admitted/DR'd today been above 170 (i.e. scholarship territory)?

I looked at all the EAC dates, LSN, etc. and while there may be some validity to the claim that those with September and October EACs who survived the waves of deferrals and denies are probably in, I would wager that this 12/7 DR has more to do with stupid high numbers. But who cares about speculating at this point? People are actually being accepted!

You don't like to read previous posts much, do you? Everyone that has been admitted thus far as been a scholarship candidate.

Yes it very much looks like it. Matter of fact they seem to be 173 or higher so far

Still EAC 11/17

Based on the few people who have reported in here, it looks like the applicants who got accepted in the 12/7 batch were all complete before November. Do we have any examples to the contrary?

It appears that way. Cornell took care of those with superior numbers first, it seems. Next up may be us----splitters + ppl with median numbers. We shall see. Still EAC 11/13 here.

OK maybe I take that back. My status checker said EAC 11/09, but I submitted RD in October, and got an email asking if I want to be considered EA. So maybe I was earlier in the stack than other 11/9 people

I submitted on 10/23, and I got the email on 11/5. Sorry if I freaked anyone out.

You can get an idea of the levels (GPA/LSAT) of admits by looking at http://cornell.lawschoolnumbers.com/applicants

All the admits except Every1Suxbutme (who is probably a troll) is high GPA/well above the 170s.

I knew you were going to ask. But what will we do about the PDs? I'm really not sure I want one following me around our house.

No PD? I don't know how to talk to girls without first knowing their family history, other intimate details, and how they feel about Neutral Milk Hotel. Does this mean we have to like converse outside of the bedroom?

Still means you were a Nov candidate imo. I think they still went through everyone with very high stats first.

Based on what we've seen, it appears that Cornell updates statuses in discrete waves. We have yet to encounter a situation where statuses gradually change throughout the day for multiple applicants.

Based on the batches so far, it's all at once. The first DR 12/7 applicant reported in at 3am today. So it must be a change that happens overnight.
