Yep, I watched the whole series this summer. I won't rant about it on here, but if anyone hasn't seen it they really should. McNulty was always my favorite character, but there were some other really close ones (Omar, Marlo, Bunny)

among the best shows ever... season four is my fave. my heart breaks for dukie (and michael) everyday.

yes and yes.

my goal is to rewatch the whole series before I start LS next fall... that goal may change if i end up at Maryland though... we'll see 8)

I may need to rethink my avatar now... hmmm

0L you are my hero and always will be.

haha Thanks. The email also confirmed that emails will be sent BEFORE a letter is sent, so it should be sent the same day as your Status Update.

Wow, so by Christmas it's either sitting pretty with an acceptance email, rejected/deferred by letter, or rejected/deferred by absence of any communication. Harsh.

I think what we are witnessing here is a brilliant display of 0L's creativity and intelligence. (not that he didn't have the numbers to begin with) He has now become the official TLS ambassador for Cornell. AND he is communicating directly with senior staff in Admissions. There is no way he isn't getting in now.

Brilliant.

I hear he gives great blowjobs, the admissions office is in his back pocket.

I estimate that at least four of those pages are from posts saying, "X pages without an acceptance."

Is anyone else cursing their complete date? With 11/13 I feel like I don't know anything. Anyone complete before 11/5 basically knows they are in, DR people have their answers as well. 11/13 could be in, could be (probably are) just not read yet...

i don't think that's necessarily true... just because you're before 11/5 will not mean you're in...

Do you think it is safe to assume people who are still EA Complete from October are in?

realistically i would say no. I've been EAC since Oct... my gpa is just too low, and cornell has not accepted anyone with my low gpa with the lsat i have last year. Although this year might be different, i highly doubt it. Of course there's still a small chance which is why i applied. 16% increase in apps... only means it'll get more difficult this year

At the very least they are seriously considering you and I am inclined to think you are in unless there is another reason for the hold up (like a new LSAT). I just don't buy LSN graphs. For example, Duke's charts show they let in almost 80 or 90 people last year with a GPA of 3.49 and below and LSAT of 168 and below (I may be fudging the range, but I have done the comparison) and yet no green dots appear in the range on the graph.

Ok. To people who believe in "jinxing", these words are anathema. Please, everyone refrain from casting apocryphal assurances like these!! I am EAC 10/28 with borderline numbers (75% LSAT, but 25% GPA), and I feel ANYTHING but assured that just because I dodged the early bullets that I am safe from taking one between the eyes.

If I get into Cornell Law before Christmas I will strip naked and run through the snow. But, if I don't, I will just die. So please, no jinxing!
