BTW, no idea why I am still hanging out in this room. DR 12/4 = doom. Until I get my letter, I guess I have nowhere else to be....I'm in no man's land.

Was anyone told over the phone that after submitting their application they would receive a fee waiver retroactively? Has anyone been reimbursed?

Did you specifically call to ask about the fee waiver?

Yes, I received one via snail mail and found out from my mom after I applied. I also had a LSAC waiver that was approved after applying. They told me that they would be happy to reimburse me and that I needed to be patient because it would take while. Fordham on the other hand after calling 3 times and being told that eventually that I would be reimbursed if I sent an e-mail hasn't replied to the few I have sent over thee past 6 weeks...arg.

love you fordham...still really am looking forward to an acceptance!

Ok off to bed as in my part of the world it is almost 1 am...is it sad that the first thing I do when I wake up is check this thread and now it seems the last thing I do before bed? Ok to remedy the situation I will go play with puppy for 5 minutes. Good night all...C'MON FIRST ACCEPTANCE!

I'd be happy for anyone, but I really wouldn't mind myself either :D

Yeah. I first emailed back in September when I was going to apply. They said I would probably receive one later in the fall. So I waited to apply for over a month, and finally in mid-October I called to ask. They said I could just apply and then when I got the fee waiver later I would be reimbursed.

Edit: To this day I have never actually received a fee waiver.

I received a need-based waiver - got my reimbursement 2 weeks after going "complete."
