Re: Cornell waiting room
Still waiting for my app to go complete. Are they ever going to process it?? Should I expect a rejection since it's so late in the cycle?
Cornell seems like its the slowest of all the schools.

Re: Cornell waiting room
So...I went complete last week (applied 1/5), but would it be worth it to send any sort of an update loci type letter? I know they haven't even glanced at my application, but I do have something to say. Thoughts?

I was accepted EA, and was wondering when we start hearing about need aid. Also, I didn't see it but other than the need access and FAFSA is there any other form I should have filled out?

By the way, you should probably ask these questions in the Cornell 2013 thread.

Last weekend and this weekend are the ASDs, so they are doing things related to that I'm sure. Also they are probably waiting for some people to withdraw to see how many spaces are left. 50% increase in apps means many more rejections and waitlists have to go out.turkishangora wrote:there hasn't been a decision in 2 weeks. what do you think they're doing up there? getting a read of the entire pool before more decision going out maybe? Congrats, 0L! I just got mine as well. They don't give you much time, do they? We only have until April 1 to accept.0L Hoping for 1 wrote:Just received Deans Scholarship offer of $120,000

Thanks! I dont think it is enough to pull me from Chicago though, so I will probably withdraw soon. I tried to email Chicago seeing if they could raise my scholly and they came back with "we need an offer from a peer school to reevaluate" bitch slap to Cornell haha.lz06 wrote:congrats 0L!!0L Hoping for 1 wrote:Just received Deans Scholarship offer of $120,000

I don't think anyone who has gotten a Dean's Scholarship so far is going to take it. I better wait to get my scholarship app in on 4/2 so they can give me all of the money yall turn down.0L Hoping for 1 wrote:Thanks! If I remember correctly, those that are only interested in merit based scholarships do not need to complete any forms, is that correct?
Thanks all!

Wrong. You need to fill out the scholarship form, NeedAccess, and send in both your's and your parent's full and complete tax information.hopefulincal wrote:If I remember correctly, those that are only interested in merit based scholarships do not need to complete any forms, is that correct?

Re: Cornell waiting room
Really? Wow that's certainly different. None of the other schools I applied to requires that just to be considered for merit based scholarships. Do you guys know of other schools with the same practice?Jericwithers wrote:Wrong.
