So sorry about WLs, all. It seems like most of you have such solid numbers that you'll still be somebody's baby, for whatever that's worth. When did people that just heard about WL apply or go complete?

Right after I posted this, I saw a decision on my status check. I tried the admitted students site- it let me in. I am sorry to ask a really stupid question, but I literally cannot believe it to be true, and I need someone on TLS to confirm- am I in?

Waitlisted today. GPA, LSAT >75%, wrote a detailed Why Mich. Absolutely no clue what they're doing up there. Good luck everyone.

I was waitlisted today as well. Same stats, but didn't bother with Why Mich essay.

I assume (and am 99% sure) that it was YP.

You act like it takes Adcomms an hour to find out if an app has a Why Mich? or a LOCI in the file. Beside, WTF cares if they forget, as long as the initial application served a legitimate purpose like the one I outlined in the previous post. Your degree of private obsession (as opposed to the extent of your expressed interest) is not and should not matter.

FTFY. JRMjr, also see soullesswonder's original post responding to your comment. No one has any clue where they are going to get in at the beginning of a cycle. Do you expect that people are only going to apply to their one or two top choice schools in complete confidence that they will get in? If so, maybe you should go thru these threads and see the rampant YP that has been going on this cycle in spite of the degree of interest many of the YP-ed applicants expressed.

If that's what you did & it works out for you, then good for you, but I prefer to have my bases covered by applying to a wide range of schools.

thanks! i just got accepted about two weeks ago and i'm currently at home away from my school mailing address and going a little crazy wondering if theres a scholarship waiting for me haha.
