I've always said 75-80%, 90% is just too high.
I'll ballpark myself around 77% bitchy.
is that 100% bitchy 77% of the time? or 77% bitchy 100% of the time?

Very nice 0L, very nice. Unless of course Pearalegal is engaging in some revisionist history.

I heard there are people applying to law school and some even using LSN that don't post on TLS. Just a rumor though.

Just marking this thread, complete 10/23 at Michigan and 174/3.6. Anyone know how long we'll be waiting for decisions?

It's possible that those entries on LSN are from the first batch of Wolverine Scholar applicants, though it's entirely possible that they were made up. That's the problem with LSN. It can be helpful in discerning general trends when there are a lot of data points available, but it's not complete or fully representative, and for any individual data point there's no way of telling if it's real or not.

Does anyone else's date keep changing on their status checker? Mine now says "Last Updated: Oct 31 2009", but I went complete a few days before that.

Same here. It always displays the current date.

Oh, and we need more of a Wayne State representation here. I think there are only 2 of us in the class of 2012 (that I know of). Having a strong state school presence allows me to lol a little more at the folks who paid much more at fancy private schools, only to end up at the same place (though I have lots of good friends here who went that route, so no offense to them).

Hopefully you put a lot of effort into your Why Mich.. I believe that essay can definitely make a difference if you show convincing reasons why you really want to be here and why you belong here.

However, retaking might be something you really want to consider, as others have said. You say you don't have the time to get into LSAT prep again, but if you really want it, you'll make the time.

Good luck :)
sigh, i dont know if my why mich was that sweet...anyways if i dont get into where i want this year, i will retake and reapply for the next cycle

hopefully, i wont have to...maybe one of the big boys will bite...

Don't understand why it takes so long to go complete. At least their review process is fairly quick.

Wait, really? Already? Are you talking about acceptances or joining up with this thread?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
