Re: michigan 2010 applicants
That's actually a really nice email. While it's slightly hold-ish in nature, I think they're just trying to connect with students that they know have been waiting a long time to hear something, so it's a very cool gesture. I did not get it, obviously, but congrats to all those who did, since you've still got a shot! I, on the other hand, would like to run for mayor of Rejectionville.

My mail hasn't arrived yet. Are you willing to share numbers? (at least LSAT score if nothing else)Kakarot wrote:I dunno what to make of Michigan. Part of me still believes they just changed the admitted students site. I mean a lot of us are above 75% numbers. Odd to be rejections or even waitlists. Especially with Dean Pless saying how little applications are up. I would also find it odd being as I have only been complete since 12/18 and excluding the break thats only around 2 weeks at complete to get a rejection. They must have hated me.
I have already accepted a rejection letter is coming. Sorry for the holds today. Hopefully you will get in.
Has anyone got anything in the mail from the 1/11 batch? My mail already came today and nothing.

I'd say that after the rejection and hold waves, hearing nothing is a good sign.0L Hoping for 1 wrote:I want to hear SOMETHINGwackjickham wrote:+1. Submitted 10/3 and nothing. Is early october not considered "early in the cycle"? Are most of these holds from September submitters?0L Hoping for 1 wrote:I want to hear SOMETHINGwackjickham wrote:+1. Submitted 10/3 and nothing. Re: michigan 2010 applicants
well, any yield concerns could be more effectively mitigated by giving darrows to everyone in yp territory rather than sending a sort of cryptic hold email. i hope the admissions office sees my logic here and comes around.
