Something very strange happened today, and I would appreciate any advice.

I am able to log-in to the admitted student site, but my status remains "complete". Could these new privileges be the result of a glitch? Has this happened to anyone else? This is by far the best school to which I have been admitted, and I feel sick to my stomach, as the whole thing seems so bizarre.

Something even stranger happened to me today! Tried logging into the admitted students site, even though my status is at complete....and I saw a block of red text. Come to think of it, that isn't strange at all. Its happened every day for over 3 months. FML

so i applied about amonth ago and still havent received a status checker email...should i email??? if so, what should i say?

How long after obtaining access to the admitted student site does the confirmation package arrive? My parents said not to get my hopes up, and I don't think I'll be able to sleep properly until it is official.

Depends on where you live; if you're in the US, it's usually a few days. You can check when it was mailed by going to the Mail & Money link on the Admitted Students' site, though. Congrats! :D
