Perhaps a relevant difference is that these people already have Decisions, the other people didn't. So they were checking the AS before they even knew whether they had a decision. But I think Karakot makes a good point, nonetheless.

+1 Calling is a really lame idea. If it were me on the other end of that phone I would say "Really?" in my most strained voice and hope that it would keep you from doing such self-centered and immature things in the future.

Do you think it is at all possible that the AS website is not accessible because this and the previous waves are the first real RD waves? Maybe the admissions staff hasnt had the time yet to enter us into the system? Maybe too hopeful lol

Sorry to hear about all the possible dings/waitlists. I was deferred from my dream school so I know how it feels to not have the cycle go exactly your way. I know some of you already have great acceptances under your belts. I'm sure everyone will end up in an amazing school. Good Luck!

I am really beginning to doubt that some of these are rejections... I don't want to inspire false hope, but it seems unlikely.
