oy i don't remember. i didn't try until i got my letter, and i requested a password and it took a little while. i don't think it ever said it couldn't be generated. i think there were others here who tried and couldn't login and got accepted, but i could be wrong. now you're making me doubt!sibley wrote:if we all cling to each other maybe instead of sinking with the ship we'll... float. how buoyant are you guys? I was able to request a password immediately after going DR, but I wasn't able to actually log in until the day after my letter had come. I have yet to see someone admitted who has explicitly said they weren't even able to request a password after DR. I am open to being proven wrong.

Did anyone who just got switched to DR today have an interview prior to this?

My reject came before I even DRed, literally checked my status, went to a meeting and came back to find it. If anything, going DR with no immediate email could be a good sign. The rejects seem to come out fast.smartblonde87 wrote:DR - expecting rejection, hopeful for a waitlist. I could not generate a password or username either :/

I had an alum interview 3/15 and my status still says Committee Requested Interview. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to update your status?

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I can't remember when I had interview/when the status changed but I remember it took quite some time, like over a month if I remember right. I am thinking we are WL too, which would make me WL at half of the T14 at the moment, which is great but at the same time terrible for the nerves, best of luck everyone!

Coming on to this board way late, obviously! I'm a 164 / 3.2 with good softs, and my status checker changed from UR 2/12 to UR 3/23 at the same time everyone else's seemed to. I'm expecting a rejection but don't really understand why my application's been held on to for so long!

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
the law school isn't in Georgetown. Its downtown, near Union Station. Kim, don't wander too far due north. The area around North Capitol north of Union Station is not so great, though a lot of people love the new bars and stuff on H st NE. Anything South and West of the school is great though. Since you like shopping I recommend strolling over to gallery place/chinatown (like 7th and H sts NW) and if you have time going to Georgetown proper (M st west of 24th).sibley wrote:yay! yeah let us know how it goes! edit: don't mean to sound alarmist. the first time i went to dc i got off the bus at the greyhound station, which at the time was in a not-so-great area north of union station and had a bad first impression of the city. been here 4 years and love it and almost always feel safe.

I visited the law school last week. The school itself is about three or four blocks from the capitol, and is in a perfectly fine area.sibley wrote:yay! yeah let us know how it goes!
