Being on hold sucks. I pretty much know I won't get a decision anytime soon, but I keep looking at my status checker incessantly nonetheless!
Anyone have some good tricks for killing the time?

Can anyone tell us if it has taken this long in the past to receive rejection emails etc? DR 1/14 today 1/19. Does this mean that we all have mail not emails coming our way?

Normally I would say yes, but since the office was closed for three of those five days, I would not be surprised if emails were delivered this afternoon or even tomorrow.

I know everyone is worrying about DR's/etc but I have a quick question...I've been complete since 12/1...how long did it take everyone to go UR after they were complete? Obviously I know that since I applied later it will probably take longer, I'm just looking for a rough estimate.

I was complete 11/23---->UR 12/10---->UR 01/08---->DR 01/14

I applied 12/18, don't exactly recall when I went officially complete but it was shortly thereafter, and went UR 1/7.
Don't know if anyone else on this board sent stuff in as late as I did so this might be a novel angle.

I agree. Unfortunately, I highly doubt our entire 1/14 batch will be accepted. Hoping for a mixed batch... and emails later today? :/

I'm pretty sure the 1/14 DR on LSN actually went DR on 1/11, but just received the letter on 1/14. I agree though that this is probably a mixed batch.

Sorry guys, I just started viewing this thread. But can someone clarify the way Georgetown sends out their decisions? Or the way that people perceive the way Georgetown sends decisions? Is it really in 'batches'? Does this apply to other schools as well?

I am confused by this, Oli. Were both accepted? Did they report being accepted today?
Got links? Thanks!

Haha sorry,
One with a 1/14 decision has a 178/3.8
The acceptance I was wrong about so that was my bad
