Got in earlier this week and called their admissions office to schedule a tour over that time period. Lady said their office will be closed.

My app is being held until the spring semester, when the committee reconvenes. I know this had been discussed before, but how positive/negative is this?

I assume it's pretty neutral. You're not strong enough that they can make a quick decision, but not weak enough to just toss onto a waitlist. When did you get the email/when did you go UR? I'm wondering why I haven't gotten any such email myself...

I got the email this morning. Have been under review since october, asked to interview late nov, interviewed on 12/07 went back UR 12/10.

Really beginning to wonder if I've fallen into some kind of Springfield Mystery Spot with them. I went UR 12/10 and still am, no emails, no update, nothing.

Is there a ranking higher than 1st? Because that's what choice Georgetown is for me.

UR 12/10? That wasn't very long ago, not sure what you're worried about.

UR 12/10? That wasn't very long ago, not sure what you're worried about.

I'd agree. Just realized you're RD. I imagine that because of ED deadlines, RD folks who went UR around 12/10-11 probably haven't gone DR yet simply because they had to get to all the ED folks.

Does this seem plausible to others? Any RD applicants who went UR around 12/10 and are now DR or have heard?

Still not DR after the 12/16 update. I hope they don't wait until Monday bc w/ the holidays it'll take forever for the mail to come.

If you did then I did too, becuase I have been complete since early November, UR 12/3 and no email or DR. I am RD, so I figure I wasn't good enough to accept outright or bad enough to reject outright.

Is there supposed to be a more detailed scheduled on the Admitted Students site when it opens up?
