I personally think we will start seein snail mail soon. All of the phone calls to Georgetown seem to lead up to this, minus one where they said that e-mails are not out of the question. Other than that, everything else seems to add up to snail mail coming in soon. Miss you on the optimism thread, by the way.

Shoot. I thought EDers don't get interviews? I guess that means I'm out of the running, seeing as that I am borderline (for PT) and they don't care to find out more. Well, I wasn't expecting much anyway.

LSAC adjusted my GPA down 0.5 to under 3.0 (thank you oh mighty LSAC for toally screwing that up and refusing to hear reason). Concordantly, my chances of admission are very low.

Any DR 12/1 in DC?

i want to know if anybody received mail today and there wasn't any gtown mail..my mailman usually gets here at 3p. I have to go to my school to study for a final and cant seem to get myself to leave because i want to see if theres anything in the mail...if any dc 12/1 dc peeps got their mail for the day and there wasn't any gulc mail i can leave in "peace"

Does anyone know what the deal with the emails are? Are they sending out just rejection/wait-lists by email, or acceptance to?

I am an ED and went DR on 12/1...my numbers are SUPER low compared to the medians. I am expecting to be rejected but haven't gotten an email. Is that good or bad?!

the general belief based on some calls that have been made is that e-mail = reject/deferral, snail mail = acceptance. Good luck, we are all waiting on pins and needles for the first decision to show up and be posted.

Although waitlisting was emails, no one has been rejected thus far, so it has not been confirmed that rejections will be on emails. Last year's rejections were based on snail mail. All we can do is wait.
