Actually, I've heard they just send rejections via those old AOL CDs. They just write "u suk" on sharpie on back of the CD.

I thought someone checked with the admissions office, and they said that all WLs/Rejections were emailed this year. Is this correct?

I've heard the rejection letters usually are sprinkled with anthrax. Just so you get the message.

No worries, I've been stalking the mailman recently and he knows I'm waiting on a letter from Georgetown. I will kiss him if I get in, seriously....

Presumably they are both of comparable size top to bottom and the difference is that the 'square' is shorter.

So wait, what do you do to read the mail - like scan it into the computer? Or just use a friend?

I can actually read (I'm not totally blind, but it's fuzzy and i have double vision, i see spots all the time and i have no depth perception it's really complicated) it's the depth perception thing with squares and rectangles. I don't see the difference in them very easily.

Does the school know this? I mean, are you legally blind?

Does the school know this? I mean, are you legally blind?

Yes and yes in one eye, one is better than the other but it is still afflicted. I have a disease called FEVR which is genetic and it causes the blood vessels in the back of your eye to overbleed causing scaring in the retina. because of this i experience the phenonmenon called floaters which are broken off pieces of the vitreous that cloud the retina not allowing enough light in and often times distorting the vision. I have had one cataract surgery, 2 vitrectomies (they replace the vitreous humor) , 2 muscle surgeries, and 3 cryo surgeries (where they freeze the blood vessels in the back of your eye to slow down the blood flow) all on both eyes. The surgeries took on one eye better than the other and therefore I can see and read, although I'm not reading 12pt. font like you guys are, it's like 24 pt. bold. I also need a lot of light and cannot walk in the dark without a flashlight and assistance.

I sent all medical documents to LSAC who send it on to schools. An addendum explaining my condition and such as well to all schools I applied to.

And legally I have to carry around a card saying that I have fake lenses and can't do certain things like fly on an airplane for more than 8 hours at a time without an eye bursting, it's fun...

PS-being legally blind doesn't mean that you can't physically see anything or you have to walk with a cane, just for future reference.

Sorta feeling no love wootwootdc

NOOO I know!! thats what I meant by legally blind, like if its certifiable and thus you can send papers to LSAC so they can accomodate you for LSAT etc..not the opposite way...I know its not about not being able to see anything at all but rather if its an impediment to full vision

Oh OK!!! Sorry for the confusion, I still love you!!!!
Yes I received accommodations for the LSAT and for other things. the booklet for the LSAT i took was a beast! it was huge ass font and the size of two desks put together when opened. Reading comp section sucked when you had to flip through it so many times!

Your pity is surprisingly soothing
