Just checked my status (currently abroad on vacation) and saw that I have gone to DR 3/30 (from UR 3/24). Can't generate a password.

I have a sinking feeling 3/30's are all dings.

are dings sent out in batches? do we all have the same fate - or was last batch's mixed?

If it eases anyone's worries, I couldn't get into the admitted students site until days after I went DR, and I was accepted. I had actually already received my letter in the mail before I could access the site.

Dan, can you clear something up for me? When you say you couldn't get in, do you mean you were able to generate a password and username, but they didn't allow you access to the site? OR we you completely unable to generate a password/username?

I vaguely remembered someone mentioning in the midst of Friday's bloodbath that they hadn't gotten the email yet, suggesting perhaps they weren't dinged. I looked back and it was eaters333... I just PM'd him/her to see what the outcome was.

When I clicked the "No Password" link, it took me to a page that asks for your last name and email address. I entered my information on that page for days after going DR, and every time it would say "Your username and password could not be generated at this time." I gave up for a bit until I received my letter at home, then tried about two days later. That's when it finally worked.

Dan I know nothing about you other than that you are admitted to GULC and there is a somewhat decent chance that your first name is Dan... but I LOVE you for giving me a small (oh ever so small) glimmer of hope.

any chance since they are making decisions so late that our batch is mixed? or will we go half mass-dinged, and half wl?

Hey, long time lurker here, just trying to give some hope. I got a "Decision Rendered" on 3/25 and my acceptance arrived in CA yesterday. Dean's note said "thanks for your patience". I had a phone interview last Saturday (3/21). I was actually randomly at GULC on Friday, the day after I went DR, because I was in the area for a wedding and they wouldn't tell me at the Admissions Office whether I was wasting my time by walking around or not. Silly business. Oh, I went to the admitted students website just now, did the "no password" option, entered my last name and email, and the site then sent me an email with the login info. Good luck everybody!

If Georgetown is sending me a letter, then the mail can take as long as it wants. It's the email I'm worried about.

I think today is the day an email is coming if it is in fact coming. I highly doubt and would be borderline pissed if they rejected me on good friday and to not then send me an acceptance on sunday. Holy thursday is a toss up, but I think it would be very rude to send a reject instead of washing our feet. As a jesuit institution I hope gtown will abide by the rules the lord has given them. In this light let us enjoy are last moments of ignorant bliss together.
