I'm in w/ almost full $$$ at GMU, no $ at GW, $$ at American. *sigh*
I want GULC, though. I wish GULC wanted me too.

Stuck at 2-12......
I snicker at each passing day that goes by without me getting rejected by GTown.

I got $45k but I'm probably putting it back into the pot. I still felt fortunate for the offer though.

Ok y'all... here's what we're going to do. Post your most recent UR date, along with your stats. Let's see if we can see some sort of pattern.

Did anyone turn down a scholarship elsewhere to attend GULC? I've become increasingly more interested in the school...despite all the hate it receives on this forum. I've seriously considered attending despite having to pay sticker. Has anyone else already made this choice or is in the same situation? If so what did/will you give up?

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Georgetown makes me feel like a fail. Was UR several times in January and Feb then asked them to hold my app for my Feb LSAT and here I am still at COMPLETE 2/19 with 174/3.64. I'm thinking more and more that it would be great to stay in DC since my life/boyfriend/apartment/friends are all here but Georgetown is not cooperating.

Saw your LSN profile...I would think you were a lock at G-Town.chutzpah wrote:Georgetown makes me feel like a fail. Thanks. I certainly hope so but who knows. I even go to Jewish High Holiday services on campus along with several hundred neighbors and Gtown alums. Their Rabbi is awesome. Yes, the Catholic school has its own Rabbi. Technically he's the Jewish chaplain but he may have just retired.ihurtmyselftoday wrote:Saw your LSN profile...I would think you were a lock at G-Town.chutzpah wrote:Georgetown makes me feel like a fail. On GW -- now that they claim that they've run out of money you're damn right I wish I applied earlier. I didn't originally apply because I despise the institution. They've destroyed my neighborhood and there's no way they should be the most expensive school in the country. A friend at GW law encouraged me to put aside my hatred and consider it as a safe option in DC, maybe with some scholarship $. Guess that's not happening.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I can't imagine that everyone who has been offered money at GWU ($100+K) is going to accept the offer. From LSN, many individuals have gotten into other good options, so I'm sure some money will go back in the pot. With your numbers, GWU should be throwing money your way!chutzpah wrote:Thanks. 164/3.89. Really good softs and a good PS, but not know they prob aren't enough to make up for my LSAT score.
FT only... that was prob a mistake.
