Hm, maybe you can try going to the admitted students website and clicking the first time user thing. Then you put in your email and they send your username and password. I'm assuming if it's a reject/waitlist it won't recognize the email? But that's not really foolproof I don't think, because who knows when they update the site? I didn't log in until I got my acceptance.
Just tried it, and it worked! I'm logged into the admitted students website.

Guess that means I'm in!

No, definitely not. I wasn't even sure if that was going to work. Don't go by what I say!

I'M DR 2/12 and can't log-in. Is this 100% accurate?

IIRC there were some folks who were DM earlier in the cycle who it didn't work for, but later got admitted when their letters arrived.

to DR 2/12 try again.... I was DR 2/12 couldn't get into the admitted page ( until right now) which means I am hopefull but still waiting for my letter

+1 lol. I thought about trying earlier and then thought "OMG THEY'LL INSTA-REJECT ME"

I would be paranoid too... I would wait for your DR ( b/c more than likely you wont be in the system anyways before then... again I was DR for 4 days before I could get in)

DR 2/12 and just checked the admitted students site and got in! have there been any instances of people getting through to the website who haven't been admitted? i don't know if i'll believe it until i see the letter lol

Perhaps this is just my own optimism speaking, but considering that you have to actually request an admitted student username/password from the server, I think it's a safe bet that if you can access it, you're in. The only other option really is that they rejected you, and then put your info into the admitted students database for kicks and giggles.

also updated UR today (was UR ~2/5, cant remember exactly). 3.7/176. Since others went DR today I'd be surprised if this meant they made a decision. But who knows. Here's hoping its good news.

The consensus on any UR update is that it really doesn't mean anything. The important date is the DR, since Georgetown sends out decisions in batches.

I can't remember exactly, sorry. All I can remember was that I went UR for the first time quite a while ago (probably in mid-January?) and then just recently had an interview. My status was "Committee requested interview" all the way up until 2/14, switched to UR on 2/15, and then went DR 2/16.

Nope. Nothing. Had an UR update on 1/19 and nothing since. Feb. 26 is drawing near..

+1. I don't expect anything until 2/26. Though, since I expect DR 2/26, I don't actually expect to get my decision until March due to their long lag time.

Im in the exact same boat...except for my interview experience was HORRIBLE. So since I was borderline before....it may not be such great news...
