Nice of them to tell me something though. This is my first pseudo-decision.

Does that effectively put me out of the running?
When I posted it I thought it would be directly underneath the shitstorm comment...I got pumpfaked and they tossed me to the other page. Lo Siento

Weren't a batch deferred/held on 12/2 as well? Looks like those are separate from accept/reject batches.
LSN shows 0 rejections so far.....

I was held on 12/2. And yes we were separate from the DR 12/1 people as most of us are still at UR. But we were all RD then. I can't speak for anyone when was deferred from ED.vasiok wrote:+1Veritas wrote:No these aren't 12/1 people getting deferred/hold

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Why would waitlist be better than deferral? Deferred means you will get a decision in February. Waitlist means you are likely out, and won't know for sure until Late spring or summer.RSN_M3 wrote:I'm guessing a waitlist would have been better than a deferral, but the deferral is better than a rejection. Is that about right? I tend to stay away from the forum, as it only makes me nervous, but this e-mail has peaked my attention.
Two responses...two deferrals...
Georgetown and UT
I'm detecting a pattern here.
Well here's to waiting well into next year.

The 10% increase was filled with mid-150's. TLS/LSN is actually filled with the cream of the crop applicants for this cycle. Nobody on here will get dinged.vasiok wrote:No emailsHopefullawstudent wrote:Every time my Outlook dings with a new email I jump a little bit..

None. (yet)
This is so distracting. I need to get back to analyzing jihadi poetry for my final paper. But waiting for GULC's final judgment is a jihad ("struggle") too. Mmrph.
