Finally went UR today. I'm most likely an auto-reject, but I'd rather rip the bandaid off quickly then have a more prolonged wait.

I'd be curious to hear about other PTers, any WLs or acceptances out there?

I applied for PT, went from "Committee requested interview" status on 2/3, interviewed on 2/24, and now my status just changed to UR 3/16... I'll keep you posted on the outcome

Why do you feel like you were interviewed?

Well I assume they wanted to find out more about my background/soft factors. My interviewer requested my resume, so we did talk about my work experience since college... more of a friendly chat really. But what surprised me was that at one point my interviewer said that the school hadn't given her guidance on any specific issue they wanted to know about. So I'm not sure exactly what information the committee was looking for, other than maybe a more in depth feel for my background and me as a person.

Guess I should add my name to this list. Applied 9/22, Went Complete 10/2, Under review since 10/9. Now in indeterminate waiting. Not ED.

Georgetown has been one of my dream schools for a long time and I would have EDed there except that opportunities for my wife are less in DC then they are near Duke or Cornell (my other top realistic choices). I would love to live back in DC again as most of my friends, even the ones I met in Iowa, are now in DC. I miss the place. Hopefully Georgetown gives me the chance to go back.

Also, does everyone accepted get an interview or something?

I just went DR also.. Gulc doesn't do batches as far as WL/Reject/Accept, do they?

I've been under review since 3/9 (my first and only). i don't think i'd be able to handle 4 or 5 "updates" to that effect.

I have been under freaking review since 2/12. I have been UR on 2/11 and 2/12 and since then NOTHING. Hang in thee Sib, at least they're looking at your app, for all I know mine is sitting on a desk somewhere collecting dust, or maybe they are all passing it around getting a good laugh, "164? I got that when I took my first practice test at the age of 12!"

For all the rest of you out there who have been UR and are interested (I only say this because every time someone says they are in the same boat as me I instantly want to know their numbers) I am a 164/3.9 so obviously this is a huge reach for me, but its my dream school.

Status checker just updated from UR 2/12 to UR 3/16!

UR 3/15, UR 3/16, UR a few times before that too...

Same for me. Updated UR two days in a row...I feel a decision has to be coming soon. They must be sick of looking at our files by now.

Huge reach for me too, UR 1/14 only 4.0/163 PT. Cant wait to hear something!

anyone know if the status checker changes after decision rendered? is there a way to tell if your in or rejected (most likely rejected in my case, but why not try?)

E-mail about an hour ago - no $$ for me. They said I'm still being considered, but basically they've got to wait for people to withdraw so they can redistribute funds.

It means you will have to wait until you get your decision in the mail to know for sure.

UR Early Feb -> Interview Request Late Feb -> UR Early March -> UR 3/17

hmm...

I'm in the same boat... the timeline is creepily almost exact to mine. I was interview requested late feb, not even a week after my interview I went UR, now it's UR 3/17. Did you apply pt or ft?

Yeah, I think all of us in the 2nd round of scholarship interviews got that same message. To paraphrase it..."Um, sorry, we know we told you that we'd have a scholarship decision already, but we've run into some trouble. You see, it seems we distributed all of our meager scholarship funds already! Our bad. We'll have to wait and see what we can give you later. Let us know if you're still interested."

Let me put it this way...I'm still very interested in Gtown, but c'mon! We were told we'd have an answer on Monday. Now, two days later, we're basically told "whoops! we already handed out all of our scholarships!" The interview turns out to be an excercise in futility. Then, we're asked let them know if we're still interested. Of course, we're still interested! That's why we responded to the request to be interviewed in the first place!
