I was deferred back in Jan and guaranteed a decision (mailed) by 2/26. So I'll go DR within a week I guess. Are you in the same boat?

Oh.. no actually, so I guess a decision is coming very soon for you though! I just applied at the end of Dec, went complete 1/5, UR 1/12 then it's updated UR a few times since. I wonder if every time they access our file it updates? It's very mysterious.. Good luck to you!!

Thanks, you too! I have no idea idea what causes it to update... magic? Wonder if we're gonna be a batch. Junelsat has very similar stats to mine, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Does this mean anything special or they just tell everybody the same thing?

Just got a special preferred wait list from Georgetown . It said "Having this special group has been a recent initiative at Georgetown. We appreciate your patience and will update you no later than March 22." Does that mean that I will be in/rejected by March 22 or that they will just give me updates? Georgetown please show me some love!!!

Just checked again, and it now shows both application complete and decision rendered (both dated today).

Status changed this afternoon to UR 2/19 from 2/15. I'm just glad that I haven't been rejected. Hopefully I can stay in the running until the February test results come out in a few days.

As someone who also got dinged at Berkeley yesterday (expected), I hope this is a YP type of thing. 3.8/173 if anyone knows how GULC handles these waitlists I always appreciate PMs.

It has to be YP because I got accepted with 3.7/171. Maybe you should let them know you're interested with a LOCI.

No it doesn't. You have the gender advantage, besides that rejection of higher numbers doesn't automatically mean YP.
