Feels like a year! Good to hear there are a few others still hanging on.

Hopefully we'll see some movement soon!

They said they couldn't offer me a scholarship at this time. They still want me to attend though! Maybe they're right and Georgetown at sticker price really could be better than a full ride at Northwestern...

DR 3/19. I tried to access the ASW and was able to obtain a username/password, but was unsuccessful when I tried to log in. Hopefully the username/password is a good sign, but I'll wait for the official word. The more I learn about G-town, the more I like it!

Special group on the PWL via email today. UR 2/19. Fingers crossed, this is definitely a top choice for me.

Good luck, that's the top WL group so hopefully they start drawing from it soon.

=) the only reason I have any hope is because I applied for their McGill (I think?) Center in Turkey. I got in and was given a nice scholarship, but it still ended up being financially infeasible so I didn't go. So I'm hoping they have good memories of me. I wrote a thank you note for the scholarship and everything.

I guess you can look at it two ways. Either they're hesitant to accept OR they're hesitant to reject/WL because they don't want to lose you. Maybe they're gauging interest by seeing if you withdraw as we get closer to most schools' deadlines? Don't lose hope!!

both of these are decent options to me. as in, I'm happy with either. because it means I've got a little something, at least. maybe I should write a loci right now.

(I don't think my app fell anywhere because it goes UR like every 2 weeks)

there have been people rejected already, right? =/

Yes, people have already been rejected, so it's not like they're holding off on all the rejects!

haha sorry. also, there's a very good chance that they are too busy doing body shots off of each other to even look at any files. :D

From what I understand, there are three WLs and they're ranked. There's the WL, the PWL, and then the special group within the PWL that is extra special and highest ranked. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's how it is.

Sent an EOCI (expression of! fits better for someone still waiting for a result, don't you think?). Mentioned my undergrad acceptance to the McGhee program, talked about critical languages and international migration institute as well as street law clinic. told them I want them and even though my gpa's a little low they should keep in mind why, and that if they look at my softs they'll see I'd be a rocking fit.

expect a prompt rejection now.

I went PT-only, complete 2/23, and have been UR since 3/16. ED'ed late, so my 3 week reply window is closing pretty soon. That is, I am working under the assumption that they got my request to ED because LSAC never updated and I had to submit the signed ED potion via email. So I could also be regular decision, in which case I may be in this for much longer.

I nudged them again because my application is still "complete" as of 2/19. The response was that it normally takes 6-8 weeks from complete to under review. Ok that's totally fine, but my application originally went complete on December 3rd, 15 weeks ago, and then I added a February LSAT score. Had no idea the new LSAT would, quite literally, put me at the bottom of the pile. Really frustrated by this. :x

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
