If you are decision rendered, how long typically until a waitlist/rejection email?
I just went dr today, with bad #'s, 3.87/166. I'm wondering at what point I should be expecting?

3.22/166 here, just went DR. I see the guillotine blade above my head, but it hasn't dropped quite yet. I figure the letter will get to me by Monday or Tuesday.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I've been under review for some weeks now, and today at around 4:30 eastern they sent me an email asking to schedule an interview, and my status checker has changed accordingly. I'm a 171 with a 3.56 (although that's with Fall's grades, which I'm not sure they've actually received yet. Without Fall I'm at 3.49.).
Anybody else get asked for an interview today?
EDIT: Also, why does everybody assume that decision are going out in "like" batches? Is there some revealing interview or something I haven't read? Isn't it more likely that they go through the applications in batches, sending out each batch when it's done as opposed to splitting them up into "Admit" and "WL/Deny" groups?

Nobody knows for sure, but it sure looks like the different batches are made up of people of similar numbers.mb88 wrote:I've been under review for some weeks now, and today at around 4:30 eastern they sent me an email asking to schedule an interview, and my status checker has changed accordingly. what does it mean to have your "application completed" date be after your "decision rendered" date?

Probably just an error in the system.lawschoolapp1 wrote:what does it mean to have your "application completed" date be after your "decision rendered" date?
If not, it means either you have very good numbers or very bad numbers. I could imagine a 2.4/143 getting dinged before the app is even complete.

Hmm, another batch of decisions and I'm still under review. It's been weeks... I wonder why they won't just put me out of my misery.

Yeah so far, at least according to all the TLS people, those who have the same DR date have all gotten the same decisions

Uhhhhhh. Decision rendered. I feel sick to my stomach. Going to try to forget that this happened until I find out my status for sure.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
why is the thread title so indecisive on the year
e: more generally, it is unacceptable that some threads on this forum are of the format "[school name] 2010", while others follow the format "[school name] 2013". someone needs to get on standardizing that

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Been complete here since 11/30, with no December retake and I have not been under review yet. Im RD PT and extremely borderline between WL and In, already work in the DC area, so Im pretty sure theyre just holding on to my app until later in the cycle. Probably going to call admissions beginning next week just to double check everything is ok with my app but now all these 1/21 DR's are scaring me.SAE wrote:Applied to both. Complete since 12/2.
Should I contact and inquire?

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I think we need to be realistic guys. If DR 1/14 people got WL, 1/15 people for accepted....1/21 can only mean we are getting rejected.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
